This past weekend’s Wolsingham Truck Show was truly unforgettable! With the roar of engines, gleaming paintwork, and a fantastic community of hauliers and enthusiasts, it epitomized everything a truck show should be and then some. For us, it was particularly special. We are thrilled to announce that we claimed 2nd place in the 'Best Kept Single Operator' category!

Nestled in the charming town of Wolsingham, County Durham, the truck show stands as one of the premier events in the UK trucking calendar. Truckfest North East - Wolsingham

After Lincoln Show ended up being a bit of a wash out, it was great to bask in the sunshine at Wolsingham.

Last year the dust was insane! It had been so dry on the build-up, that any movement of vehicles created massive dust clouds that settled on to all the trucks making it a nightmare to keep them clean all weekend.

With all the rain in the weeks before it meant that the dust wasn’t an issue this year thank god!

Don’t get me wrong though, the truck still got cleaned within an inch of its life, dust or no dust.

We arrived on Friday lunchtime to make sure to get a good spot with the Mrs, small one and father-in-law in tow.

The first round of judging was on Saturday morning which really didn’t give me much time to get the truck polished and up to standard, especially after a few drinks with mates the night before.

The second round of judging was Sunday morning, and these guys are TOUGH! Fingers in all my holes and pulling me up on a bird shit that had appeared on the roof overnight.

I really felt the pressure this year after bringing out my own range of truck cleaning products, I had to make sure she was even more spotless than usual.

All the blood sweat and tears were worth it though…coming first in ‘Best kept Owner Operator’. And in a close second was Gary Armstrong who also used all my own products. In fact, all the trucks around us were using my tire shine, ceramic detailer and trim detailer

It was so nice to have so many people come up and say hello, purchase truck cleaning products and take pictures with her.
